I'm such a bad blogger! My last post was last year's wish lists! Oh well. These days I'm posting so much on facebook & instagram that it would be pretty redundant to also post here. But, it is a convenient way to share the kid's wish lists.
I actually keep these lists going all year so the link is the same. I use it as a tool to keep the kids from driving me nuts asking for stuff. They have pretty much gotten so that now, when we are strolling the toy aisles at Target they say "oh Mommy, please can you put this on my wish list" instead of asking me to buy it. The Amazon app is awesome for that! It even has a barcode scanner.
In clothing, Lily wears size 8 but she is tall and skinny so if there is an option for "long", go with that and any pants must have either elastic or an adjustable waist. Shoes are size 1.5
She loves anything artsy/craftsy and is reading at a 4th grade level. She is into the 18" doll craze and has one, but is asking for another. She wants a red-head. The "American Girl" is stupid expensive but there are several versions that are way more affordable. Clothing and accessories for the doll are good gifts too (and can be handmade so if you just happen to be at a craft show....). She still plays with Barbie but has TONS already.
Her list is HERE (P.S. don't buy the boots)
In clothing, Eric wears a size 5 and is also tall & skinny. He hates buttons so any pants should be elastic waist. He needs T-shirts.
He doesn't really have anything that he has been begging for, he is a pretty low-maintenance kinda kid. He likes toys that are small. Like small enough to keep in his pocket. Lego is great. They both love lego (regular Lego for Lily too, we don't really like the silly "Friends" girlie style lego) and we keep Legos in a collective drawer so a larger set as a combined gift would be better than two smaller sets.
Eric's list is HERE
Ross is super low maintenance which makes it easy on the budget, but hard for gift giving because he will never say he wants something. I've got a list going for him HERE, but other ideas would be dress shirts 15 1/2" or dress pants 33"x 30" he doesn't wear a tie often, but he does have to wear dress shirts & pants regularly. Certainly no t-shirts, it is insane the amount of shirts that man owns! He loves beef jerky.
Me, I am very good at keeping my wish list up to date. You'll find it HERE.
